Impact of Technology on the Future of Democracy: Trend and Policy Brief
Developed by the CoD Working Group on Democracy and Technology, the brief identifies five trends that have the potential to affect the state of democracy in the coming years. Based on these trends, it outlines five corresponding policy recommendations that can help address these trends, by bolstering the improvements these technologies provide, regulating the technologies and the organisations that manage them, and by mitigating the threats that arise from these technologies in the digital ecosystem.
