Secretary General meets Advisor of the President of Poland

Meeting of Prof. Ku?niar with Ambassador Maria Leissner

On Thursday, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Poland, Prof. Roman Ku?niar, met with Secretary General of the Community of Democracies, Ambassador Maria Leissner. The topics of the meeting were threats to democracy imposed by the new political attitudes of Russia towards countries in Eastern Europe, and possible actions that participating states of the Community of Democracies can take to counter threats to democracy around the world.

The upcoming celebrations of 25 years of freedom in Central and Eastern Europe organized in Warsaw will provide a good opportunity for exchange of ideas and strengthening of the cooperation of democratic states in support of democracy globally.
