Secretary General Thomas E. Garrett will travel to Romania, the Community’s Governing Council Member State, for an official visit lasting from May 15^th – 17^th 2018.

On May 16^th, Secretary General will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Teodor Meleșcanu to discuss Romania’s engagement in the Community of Democracies as well as the Community’s initiatives aimed at promoting and strengthening democratic values enshrined in the Warsaw Declaration.  The SG’s agenda also include meetings with other high-level officials of the Romanian government and members of Parliament.
