On April 20-21, 2021, Member States of the Community of Democracies Governing Council (GC) will convene for a virtual two-day GC meeting. The meeting will be chaired by the CoD Presidency Romania, with welcome remarks by Foreign Minister of Romania, H.E. Bogdan Aurescu and CoD Secretary General Thomas E. Garrett. The session will discuss current and future activities of the CoD as well as challenges and opportunities for democracy in a post-pandemic world.
