As the Community of Democracies Youth Leads, we condemn the inhumane attack on students at the Kabul University on November 2, 2020, demand accountability, and extend sympathy to its victims. This attack, the second in ten days on a school facility in Kabul, is a direct violation of the fundamental right to life guaranteed under article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as the right to equal access to education, Warsaw Declaration principle 6. We believe, terrorism must be eliminated for continuing safely educating young people, building durable peace and sustainable democracy in Afghanistan.
