Secretary General Thomas E. Garrett participated in a roundtable discussion: ”Has democracy failed women? New democratic practices and women’s participation” held at the World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg on November 20th, 2018.

During the roundtable on how participatory democracy can enhance representative democracy in order to foster women’s power, the SG presented highlights of the discussions held during the regional consultations took place in Asia, Americas, Africa, Europe and MENA region in the framework of the CoD’s project on Advancing Women’s Political Participation.
