On April 9th, 2019, Secretary General Thomas E. Garrett met with State Secretary Dănuţ Neculăescu of Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs  to discuss Romania’s upcoming Presidency of the Community of Democracies.

Romania, Member State of the Community’s Governing Council, will assume the  Presidency of the CoD as of September 15th.
